जिवती: तालुक्यातील माणिकगड पहाडावर अवैध वृक्षतोडीची समस्या गंभीर स्वरूप धारण करत आहे. नैसर्गिक सौंदर्याने नटलेला जिवती तालुका आता जंगलतोडीच्या मोठ्या संकटात सापडला आहे. तेलंगणा सीमेजवळ वसलेल्या महाराजगुडा गावाजवळ जंगो देवी आदिवासी समाजाचे एक प्रसिद्ध देवस्थान आहे. या देवस्थानाच्या परिसरात एक प्राचीन आणि घनदाट जंगल अस्तित्वात होते, परंतु अवैध वृक्षतोडीच्या वाढत्या प्रमाणामुळे आज हे जंगल नाहीशे होत आले आहे. Manikgad deforestation

जिवतीत अवैध वृक्षतोडीचा प्रादुर्भाव वाढल्यामुळे माणिकगडच्या परिसरातील बायोडायवर्सिटीवर Biodiversity मोठा धोका निर्माण झाला आहे. सागवान आणि इतर मूल्यवान वृक्षांची मोठ्या प्रमाणात तोड व तस्करी करण्यात येत आहे, ज्यामुळे या परिसरातील पर्यावरणीय संतुलन बिघडत आहे. स्थानिक जंगलात वेगवेगळ्या प्रजातींचे वनस्पती आणि प्राणी यांच्या अस्तित्वावर याचा नकारात्मक परिणाम झाला आहे. याशिवाय, या वृक्षतोडीमुळे स्थानिक आदिवासी समाजाची उपजीविका देखील धोक्यात आलेली आहे.

अवैध वृक्षतोडीच्या समस्येवर सरकार आणि वन विभागाची गती कमी असल्याने स्थानिक नागरिकांनी चिंता व्यक्त केली आहे. गेल्या काही महिन्यांपासून या समस्येला योग्य प्रकारे वाव मिळत नाही, आणि सरकारी यंत्रणा देखील या गंभीर परिस्थितीला अनवधानाने घेत आहे. स्थानिक नागरिकांच्या तक्रारींनुसार, वनरक्षक आणि अन्य संबंधित अधिकारी या प्रकरणात निष्क्रिय असल्याचे दिसून आले आहे. संबंधित वनविगच्या अधिकाऱ्यांनी तस्करांशी हात मिळवणी करून वृक्षतस्करीला हिरवी झंडी दाखवली असल्याचे स्थानिकांचे म्हणणे आहे.

                                                                         

आदिवासी समाज आणि स्थानिक नागरिकांच्या मनात जागरूकता वाढविण्याची गरज आहे. त्यांच्या संरक्षणासाठी आणि या निसर्गसंपन्न क्षेत्राच्या रक्षणासाठी विविध सामाजिक संघटनांनी आवाज उठविणे आवश्यक आहे. "आम्ही या जंगलांचे रक्षण करू इच्छितो," असे एका स्थानिक आदिवासीने सांगितले. "आमच्या जीवनशैलीचा भाग आहे आणि याची काळजी घेतली पाहिजे."

पर्यावरणीय परिणाम

जंगलतोडीचा परिणाम मानव जीवनावरही होत आहे. ऑक्सिजन निर्मितीत कमी झाल्यामुळे लोकांना श्वास घेण्यात अडचण येऊ शकते. हवेच्या गुणवत्तेवरही याचा गंभीर परिणाम होतो. जिवती तालुक्यातील जंगलतोडीच्या समस्येमुळे पावसाच्या प्रमाणातही वाढ होत नाही. जलचक्र, जैवविविधता आणि पर्यावरणीय संतुलनाचे रक्षण करणे आवश्यक आहे.

जागतिक उष्णता, हवामान बदल आणि निसर्गातील बदल यांसारख्या समस्यांना तोंड देताना, येणाऱ्या पिढीसाठी शिक्षण अत्यंत महत्त्वाचे आहे. वृक्षारोपण आणि संवर्धन याबाबत अधिक जागरूकता निर्माण करणे आवश्यक आहे. "आम्हाला हवे असलेल्या प्रदूषित वायूच्या आधारे आपले पर्यावरण सुधारणे आवश्यक आहे," असे एका स्थानिक युवा कार्यकर्त्याने स्पष्ट केले.

वृक्ष तस्करीला वाव देणाऱ्या वन अधिकाऱ्याला वेळीच कायद्याच्या चौकटीत अंनेने गरजेचे आहे. अवैध वृक्षतोडीवर नियंत्रण मिळवण्यासाठी स्थानिक प्रशासन, वन विभाग आणि नागरिकांनी एकत्र येऊन काम करणे आवश्यक आहे. माणिकगडच्या जंगलाचे रक्षण करणे म्हणजे आपल्या पर्यावरणाचे रक्षण करणे आहे.
